Moon. The adventure exhibition, invites you to embark on a journey to the Moon, where science and interactivity meet fun and imagination.
Through hands-on, thought-provoking and playful experiences, this participatory exhibition invites visitors to discover, question, and experience the deep-seated human desire to return to the Moon — and to imagine what it might mean to travel to the Moon and to settle there one day.
An immersive and interactive exploration, where visitors will travel through three main areas, each dedicated to a key discovery moment in this journey.
The exhibition is on display at Le Vaisseau in Strasbourg from 3 October 2026 to 2 January 2028. Come and see it!

The exhibition content has been codeveloped by Cap Sciences and Le Vaisseau, European science centres, in collaboration with education experts.
Let’s prepare for a space journey and a stay on the Moon! The training of anastronaut is, in itself, an adventure.
Visitors prepare for a space mission by exploring a life-size training centre. Through a series of hands-on and playful challenges, they test and develop skills required for a lunar mission.
Visitors collect achievement badges throughout their training and become truly active participants in the adventure.
Ready for launch. The mission to the Moon can begin.
Fully prepared, it’s now time to experience real-life conditions aboard a permanent scientific base.
Visitors step Inside a lunar habitat and experience the daily life of scientists who have made it their home.
Through a series of immersive and cooperative missions, they manage the vital systems that keep the base alive : oxygen, water, food, and waste.
This experiment draws on projections from major space agencies and builds on NASA’s Artemis programmes.
Work together to become guardians of survival for the Moon’s pioneers!
Let’s take a forward-looking and imaginative look at the future of humankind on the Moon.
What will humanity’s presence in this hostile environment look like in the distant future? How do we imagine it?
Visitors shape their reflection into a fictional future and dream up their own inhabited lunar world through a generative AI module.
They go beyond contemporary representations and reconnect the Moon to the role it has always played: a fascinating source of wonder and fantastical imagination.
